February 2007 minutes were approved as amended
3.) Unfinished Business Updates
The Calendar of City events were presented by Bob Reguilon and reviewed by the members.
Members will meet with Bob to determine availability for the events.
The LED Sign project will be put on hold until further notice.
4.) Pastoral Council Retreat
The Pastoral Council Retreat is scheduled for 31 March. Bob Reguilon has booked the Kids Club and
is booked as the primary meeting place. If needed, the Moran Hall is also booked.
5.) Donut Sunday
Donut Sunday will be on March 18th. The donuts need to be at church by 8:30am. Bob Reguilon will
pick up the donuts. The schedule will be:
7:30am Mass: Dave, Eric, Bob
9:00am Mass: Dave, Eric, Bob
10:30am Mass: Bonnie, Kevan, Eric, Laurianne
Eric will send out an email confirming the dates, times and who will attend. We will all observe
Donut Sunday to look for ways to improve the event.
4.) New Business
Gospel of Luke presentation had good feedback and was well attended. The success was attributed to
many factors including: selling tickets, advertising the event at mass, and having a poster on the
bulleting board.
5.) Sacrificial Giving
A Coat collection from an Eagle Scout was suggested. Father Bob will check with the St Vincent de
Paul society. Instead of collecting coats, it was suggested that the Eagle Scout instead collect Socks.
A Friendly Manner, an Oakland Women’s shelter, was given $5000.
Christian Appalachian Project, a housing project for Appalachia, was given $1,000.
Habitat for Humanity, the international, nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry, was given
$4,000 for the Build-a-thon. This money is to support 10 x people for 2-days.
Input Session & Town Hall Meeting Feedback
Eric prepared snapshot of input session evaluation. An additional vote will be held on Sunday, March
10, 2007. The purpose of the additional vote is to get a broader base of participation and to determine
which goals will be the most important. The votes will be conducted just after the homily at each
mass. A different color will be used for each mass to determine mass trends.
After more information is gathered, the next step will be to provide progress on how we are doing for
each event.
The 10-main issues have been consolidated into the following seven:
1.
Social Events
2.
Adoration
3.
Adult Education/Bible Study/Catholic Doctrine
4.
Youth Participation/Homilies Geared towards youth

The
