Minutes of the St Raymond Pastoral Council Meeting

check with the web master by next time for instructions to submit

Council minutes to the web site.

Surprise Topic & gifts from Father Bob:

StrengthsFinder: Janet Egler attended a meeting with Maggie Ringle. Five other

parishes

attended the meeting. Each of the parishes participates

in StrengthsFinder at a

different level.

Janet presented each of the council members a copy of Living Your

Strengths (Catholic version) as a gift from Father Bob.

The book includes a code to take

the assessment online. The Parish staff has taken the assessment and will be doing a team

blend at a retreat.  The staff has all met with a StrengthsFinder

coach. Other parishes have

included the pastoral council with the staff.

Each pastoral council member is asked to

complete the assessment before the next meeting and read about your top 5 strengths.

Read the entire book if you have time. Saint Anne’s Parish is farthest along (700

families).

StrengthsFinder can eventually move out to ministries and

families in a parish.

New Business:

Christmas Party

– snacks and conversation were enjoyed by all in attendance.
