Minutes of the St Raymond Pastoral Council Meeting

Candidate not Present: Mark Ryan

Meeting convened at: 7:15

Opening Prayer by

Topics for Current Meeting:

Discernment: Mark Bales presented an

overview of the Pastoral Council. Janet Egler

presented an

overview of

StrengthsFinder.

The two candidates had an opportunity to ask questions and the council members had an

opportunity to ask the candidates questions. The candidates left at 8:21. The two candidates present will take

their StrengthsFinder survey within the next few days and email their top five talents to Mark before the

selection meeting scheduled for next Thursday, the 17th. Mark Bales will contact Mark Ryan to offer the

opportunity to meet the council at

7:30 next Thursday for 30 minutes before the council meets to select the new

council members. Mark Ryan has shared his top five talents with the council. The council engaged in some

preliminary discussion of the candidates and also discussed the discernment process itself.

Next Meeting: The council will meet at the rectory at 6:30 on Thursday, September 17 for dinner followed by a

meeting to select council members and other council business as necessary.
